Warm Greetings to all!

I am highly privileged to warmly welcome you to the well known institution N. G. Patel Polytechnic which is imparting top class technical education to the budding technocrats of the Gujarat state since 1997.

The institute is committed to provide excellent outcome based technical education to the diploma holders through highly qualified and experienced faculty members with state of the art laboratories and facilities for teaching-learning.

To promote and recognize excellence in technical education, the Chemical Engineering (2021, 2024), Computer Engineering (2021, 2024), Mechanical Engineering (2024) and Electrical Engineering (2025) departments accredited for 03 years by National Board of Accreditation, Delhi. Very few institute of the south Gujarat region have achieved this glorious benchmark.

Chemical Engineering Department has been recognized as Schedule-I Environmental auditor by Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), Gandhinagar and carried out Environmental audit work of many chemical industries since 2002. The department is having an NABL accredited Environment audit lab as per the ISO-17025: 2017.

The institute has excelled in the academic performance by producing 09 GTU gold medalists since the inception of Gujarat Technological University in the year 2008 which includes 07 GTU gold medalists from Diploma in Chemical Engineering (2010, 2013, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2025), 01 GTU gold medalist from Diploma in Electrical Engineering (2010) and 01 GTU gold medalist from Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (2021) at the university level. The institute has achieved higher results in the university examinations and many of the students are achieving good academic performance. Beyond academic success the institute is achieving the most sought after goal of 100% placement in the reputed industries and leading higher learning institutes since the first batch was passed out in the year 2000. This year the institute has placed more than 200 students through campus selection drives of various reputed industries from the batch passing out in the year 2025-26.

Along with academics, students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities as we always believe that every student has an unlimited pool of talent that needs to be nurtured and guided with care that can help in bringing out the best from any individual. Such students can be brought up as a well prepared and responsible citizen of our great nation.
